Geometry - We spent the period discussing and proving basic side-angle relationships in equilateral and isosceles triangles (Sec. 4.8).

Geometry - We completed our quiz covering Sec. 4.3 - 4.5 and began our exploration of isosceles and equilateral triangles (Sec. 4.8).

- 12:00 / 1:00 - Mr. Sondgeroth - complete the introductory worksheet that was distributed in class today

Notes:  Reminder ... we are on Schedule E tomorrow - Wednesday, January 28.  1:00 dismissal and 7:00 classes don't start until 7:15!

Geometry - We continued our discussion of congruent triangles, completing proofs that employ various methods (Sec. 4.4 - 4.5).

Geometry - We began our discussion of Ch. 4. today, focusing on the definition of congruent triangles (Sec. 4.3).

Geometry - We completed the Ch. 12 summative assessment in class today.

HW for Tuesday - Students were assigned two packets:

1)  Extra Credit packet involving transformations, specifically looking at alternative ways to define translations

2)  HW packet involving tessellations, culminating with an attempt at creating an Escher-like work of art

Geometry - Mr. Vrana covered class today.  Students completed HW quizzes covering Sec. 12.1 and 12.2 in class today.
