Geometry - We began our discussion of Sec. 1.6, focusing in the Cartesian Coordinate Plane.  HW for Friday - Complete the GSP activity distributed in class today.

Modern Math -We discussed Sec. 1.6, focusing on using multiple voting methods to determine the "winner" of an election by ranking the results.  HW for Friday - Complete pgs. 36 - 37  #41-49.

Wednesday, August 29

Geometry - We concluded our discussion of Sec. 1.2, focusing on identifying the midpoint/bisector of a segment.  HW for Thursday - No new HW ... review the problems that were assigned for today and come to class prepared to ask questions.

Modern Math - We continued our discussion of Voting Methods, reviewing the method of pairwise comparisons (Sec. 1.5).  HW for Thursday - Complete pg 36  #37-40.

Tuesday, August 28

Geometry - We began our discussion of Sec. 1.2, focusing on the distance between points on a line.  HW for Wednesday - Complete the Sketchpad activity worksheet that was distributed in class.  Complete pg 17  #1-10 (assigned on Monday) and pgs 17 - 18  #11-13, #16, #18, #20-21, #24-29, #34, #36-40.

Modern Math -We concluded our discussion of Pairwise Comparisons (Sec. 1.5).  HW for Wednesday - complete pgs. 23 - 34  #27-35.

Geometry - We concluded our discussion of Sec. 1.1, finalizing our discussion of the Intersection Postulates.  HW for Tuesday - Read Sec. 1.2 and complete pg. 17  #1-10.

Modern Math -We continued our discussion of Ch. 1, focusing on the Plurality with Elimination Method (Sec. 1.5).  HW for Tuesday - Complete pg. 33  #20-26.

Geometry - We worked on two computer activities in class today 1) Exploring the Online Geometry Textbook and 2) Exploring Sketchpad.  HW for Wednesday - Complete any part(s) of the two activities that you did not complete in class.

Mod Math - We began our discussion of Ch. 1, focusing on Preference Ballots (Sec. 1.1) and The Plurality Method (Sec. 1.2).  HW for Wednesday - Read Sec. 1.3 - 1.4 in the textbook.
