Group Final Information:
- Groups will consist of 3 - 4 students in your Geometry class. Mr. Sondgeroth will assign you to a group in class on Friday, May 19.
- All work will be completed during class time on Friday, May 19, and Monday, May 22.
- If you miss a class period, you are responsible for completing the group final on your own.
- The Group Final will cover all material we have discussed in Ch. 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12. (see above)
- The Group Final will consist of 60+ problems, primarily show your work / short answer.
- The Group Final will account for 25% of your 2nd Semester Exam grade (5% of overall grade).
- Students may use their calculators, notes, books and computers to complete this portion of the exam.
Individual Final Information:
- All work will be completed during the scheduled 90-minute final exam period on Wednesday, May 24 (ODD hours), or Thursday, May 25 (EVEN hours).
- The Individual Final will cover all material we have discussed in Ch. 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12. (see above)
- The Individual Final will consist of 70 - 80 problems, primarily multiple choice and T/F.
- The Individual Final will account for 75% of your 2nd Semester Exam grade (15% of overall grade).
- Students may use their calculators, but may NOT use their books,
notes, and/or school-issued computer to complete this portion of the
exam.
- Students may bring a cheat sheet to the final. This should be ONE piece of paper no larger than 8.5 x 11. All notes must be hand written - NO PHOTOCOPIES OR ATTACHMENTS are permitted.

About Me
- Michael Sondgeroth
- This is my 2nd year teaching math at West. I spent the first 32 years of my teaching career at U-High. For nearly 30 of those years, I have taught some level of Geometry, ranging from basic to accelerated This year, I have added Geometry in Construction my resume.. I really enjoy teaching this subject and hopefully I can convey my passion to the students. I'm returning to the Pre-Algebra classroom as well, where my co-teacher (Miss Franks) and I are excited about the curricular adaptations we have planned for the upcoming year. Outside the classroom, I supervise an FMP home room and will be assisting the girls basketball and softball teams again this year. Some of you may know my lovely wife ... she is one of the fine counselors here at West Mi - Se)! We have three grown children, two grandsons (a rambunctious 4-yr old and newborn) and an 11-yr old blind golden retriever.
