Tuesday, March 20

Geometry - 8:00 - We continued our discussion of Sec. 6.4, completing proofs that required an understanding of the properties of rectangles and rhombi. HW for Wednesday - Complete the worksheet that was distributed in class today and then complete pgs 412 - 413 #17 and #34-35.

Geometry - 12:00 and 1:00 - We continued our discussion of Sec. 6.4, completing proofs that required an understanding of the properties of rectangles and rhombi. HW for Wednesday - Follow the lab activities sheet distributed at the end of the hour to talk about the proving special parallelograms.

Algebra 2 / Trig - We spent the hour "creating" the unit circle (Sec.13.3). HW for Wednesday - Fill in the chart for tomorrows class.

3rd Quarter Grades

TENTATIVE 3rd Qtr grades have been posted on Skyward.

I returned from my leave of absence today, giving me more time to work with students wanting to retake various assessments. If you have a quiz or test that you would still like to retake, please send me an e-mail at SGrothfam@aol.com to arrange a time to meet.

Remember, 3rd qtr grades are "fluid". I can adjust/change them until the end of the semester. And ultimately, it is the semester grade that is the most important.

Welcome Back #1 - I hope everyone enjoyed some beautiful weather during Spring Break!

Welcome Back #2 - Mr. Sondgeroth is back half-time as he recovers from hip replacement surgery.

Geometry - All classes - Use this sketch file to help you complete the guided notes sheet in class. HW will be distributed at the end of class. HW for Tuesday - Complete pgs 412 - 413 #10-15 and #18-32.

Algebra 2 / Trig - We will work on an activity to introduce the Unit Circle. HW will be assigned at the end of class. No HW for Tuesday.

Geometry-today in class we took a quiz over sections 6.1-6.3. No HW for tomorrow

Algebra 2/Trig- Today in class we review sections 13.1 and 13.2. HW for Friday is complete the worksheet from class.

Geometry-Today in class we reviewed for the quiz over 6.1-6.3 tomorrow. HW for Thursday- page 407 #1-25

Algebra 2/Trig- Today in class we discussed 13.2 focusing on angles of rotation. HW for Thursday- page 940 #31-51 odd

Algebra 2/Trig-Today in class we completed the review on page 554-557 in preparation for our test tomorrow over Chapter 7.

Wednesday, February 29

Geometry 8- Today in class we discussed vectors and finished talking about chapter 8. HW for Thursday finish packet and page 563 #5-17 odd.

Geometry 12/1- Today in class we discussed section 6.1 focusing on polygons. HW for Thursday- page 386 #16-21, 23, 25, 35, 37

Algebra 2 Trig- Today in class we finished up chapter 7 by talking about exponential and logarithmic regression. We worked on the practice B worksheet in class. HW for Thursday is to look at the chapter review and bring questions to the review tomorrow.
