Geometry - We completed our individual final exam (in 8:00 and 2:00) during an extended class period today.  No HW over Winter Break.

Modern Math - We completed our Ch. 6 Test in class today.  No HW over Winter break.

Geometry Students - You may use your free time over the final exam days to retake either the Ch. 3 or the Ch. 4 tests.  Send Mr. Sondgeroth an e-mail to schedule this retake - include: day, time, and test.

For the final exam in Geometry, students may only use a writing utensil, calculator, and note sheet.  The note sheet  should be an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper with HANDWRITTEN notes (front/back, if necessary).

Geometry - We spent the hour reviewing for our final exam.  Students were given a practice packet (w/ answers) to assist with this review.  No HW for Thursday/Friday.

Modern Math - We concluded our discussion of Ch. 6, focusing on the Cheapest Link Algorithm (Sec. 6.7) and how it can be used to determine the optimal Hamilton circuit.  HW for Thrusday - Complete

Geometry - We completed our group finals in class today.  No HW for Wednesday.

Note:  Mr. Sondgeroth will host a Geometry review session TODAY from 3:00 - 5:00 in Rm. 208.  Students are free to come and go as time allows, but should be prepared to ask specific questions while in attendance.

Modern Math - We continued our discussion of Hamilton Circuits, focusing on the Repetitive Nearest Neighbor Algorithm (Sec. 6.6).  HW for Wednesday - Complete pg. 232  #37-38.

Geometry - We spent the day working on our group finals.  We will finish them in class tomorrow.

Geometry - We completed our Ch. 4 Test in class today.  HW for Monday - prepare for the group final which we will complete in class on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Modern Math -We spent the hour reviewing Sec. 6.1 and 6.2.  HW for Monday - Complete #6-14 (even) and #15-27 (odd).

Thursday, December 13

Geometry - We spent the hour reviewing for tomorrow's test over Ch. 4.  HW for Friday - It was suggested that the students complete any or all of the following to prepare for the Ch. 4 Test ... 1) Ch. 4 Study Guide / Review on pgs. 284 - 287 of the text, 2) Ch. 4 Practice Test on pg. 288 of the text, and/or 3) Interactive Practice Test under the "Additional Practice" tab for Ch. 4 on the online textbook.

Modern Math -We reviewed the HW from Sec. 6.1, and extended the discussion to talk about complete and weighted graphs.  No HW for Friday.

Wednesday, December 12

Geometry - We discussed Sec. 4.8, focusing on the relationship between the number of congruent angles and sides in any triangle.  HW for Thursday - Complete pg. 276 #2 - 10.

Modern Math -We began our discussion Ch. 6, focusing the the similarities/differences in Euler and Hamilton circuits and paths (Sec. 6.1).  HW for Monday - Complete #1 - 13.

Tuesday, December 11

Geometry - We continued our discussion of Sec. 4.6, focusing on proving triangles congruent and apply the CPCTC principle.  HW for Wednesday - Complete the HW assignment from Monday and complete the "Angles of a Triangle" worksheet that was distributed in class today.

Modern Math -We completed the Ch. 5 Test in class today.  No HW for Wednesday.

Geometry - We discussed Sec. 4.6, focusing on CPCTC - Congruent Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent - and how it can be used to aid us in completing proofs.  HW for Tuesday - Complete pg. 263 #4 and #8-11.

Modern Math -We spent the hour reviewing Ch. 5 and completing a practice test.  HW for Tuesday - prepare for tomorrow's test.

Modern Math - We completed our discussion of Euler Circuits/Paths (Ch. 5).  No HW for Monday.  We have tentatively scheduled the Ch. 5 Test for Tuesday, December 11.

Modern Math - We continued our discussion of graph theory, focusing on ways to model real world problems using Euler circuits and paths.  HW for Friday - Complete the worksheet distributed in class today.
