Geometry - We began our discussion of Sec. 2.1 today, focusing on inductive reasoning, arithmetic/geometric/periodic sequences, and recursive/explicit formulas.
HW for Tuesday - In the textbook, complete pg. 77 #5-22
College Algebra - We began our in-class discussion of Sec. 2.1, focusing on using different forms (point-slope, slope-int, and standard) to express the equation of a line.
No HW for Tuesday. Students are, however, required to bring a graphing calculator (preferably a TI-83 or 84) to class with them tomorrow so we can investigate the process of linear regression.

Assessment Alert - We will complete the Ch. 1 Test in class over a two-day period, beginning the test on Thursday, Sept. 15 and completing it on Friday, Sept. 16. Students must have the test finished by the end of class on Friday!

Assessment Alert - Slight change to the calendar regarding the Ch. 1 Test ... We will begin the test in class on Thursday, September 15, and then complete it during class on Friday, September 16. This should insure that everyone is able to complete the assessment during class time and will not have to come in during their free time to finish.
