College Algebra - We finished reviewing for the Ch. 1 Test.  HW for Wed - study for test on your own.  Optional - complete multiple choice practice test an look for answers online.

Geometry - We completed our discussion of Sec. 2.2 and 2.3 - Properties of segments.  HW for Wed - Sec. 2.3 worksheets.  We will take a quiz over Sec. 2.1 - 2.3 on Wed.

Mon, Sept. 10

College Algebra - We continued our review of Chapter 1 in preparation for our test on Wednesday.  HW for Tue - Complete Ch. 1 Practice Test.

Geometry - We discussed Sec. 2.2 and 2.3 - Properties of Segments.  HW for Tue - Sec. 2.2 Study Guide and Practice Worksheets.

Reminder - We are on Schedule E (1:00 Dismissal) tomorrow - Tue, Sept. 11.

Fri, Sept. 7

College Algebra - We began reviewing for our chapter 1 Test (next Wednesday).  HW for Mon - Complete Ch. 1 vocab sheet and Ch. 1 practice quizzes.

Geometry - We reviewed the Chapter 1 Test and then discussed Sec. 2.1.  HW for Fri -

Thu, Sept. 6

College Algebra - We discussed Sec. 1.8 - Linear Inequalities.  HW for Fri - Pg. 55 - 56  #9, 11 - 14, 17, 20, 25, 29. 

Geometry - We reviewed material from Chapter 1, completing Sec. 1.6 Enrichment worksheet in groups during class..  HW for Fri - Sec. 1.5 Practice and Enrichment worksheets.

 

Wed, Sept. 5

College Algebra - We discussed Sec. 1.7 - Piecewise Functions.  HW for Thu - Pg 49, #11, 12, 16, 17, 23, 24.  Note - we will test Ch. 1 next Monday or Tuesday.

Geometry - We took the Chapter 1 Test today.  No HW was assigned for Thursday.

Tue, Sept. 4

College Algebra - We continued our discussion of Sec. 1.6 - Linear Regression and Best Fit Lines.  HW for Wed - Pg. 43 #8 and Sec. 1.7 Practice worksheet omit #4 and #6.

Geometry - We finished reviewing for the Chapter 1 Test, which is scheduled for tomorrow.  There was no HW assigned for Wed, other than to study for the test.

Fri, Aug. 31

College Algebra - We began our discussion of Sec. 1.6 - Best-Fit Lines and Linear Regression.  HW for Monday: Pg. 42 - #6.

Geometry - We reviewed Sec. 1.6 and Sec. 1.1 in preparation for the Ch. 1 Test on Wed.  HW for Tue - Pgs. 42 - 44  #11- 25 and #28 - 34.
