College Algebra - We discussed Sec. 6.1 - radian measure for angles. HW for Wednesday - pg. 297 #39 - 44 and pg. 348 #18 - 26, #28 - 30.

Accl. Geometry - We completed our discussion of Sec. 5.3 - properties of kites and trapezoids - and began our discussion of Sec. 5.4 - midsegments of triangles and trapezoids. HW for Wednesday - pgs. 277 - 279 #1 - 9, #14 - 16.

Monday, January 12

College Algebra - We continued our discussion of Sec. 5.3. HW for Tuesday - pgs 296 - 297 #14 - 37.

Accl. Geometry - We discussed Sec. 5.3 - properties of kites and trapezoids. HW for Tuesday - pgs 271 - 273 #1 - 13, #17.

Friday, January 9

College Algebra - We took a pop quiz over Sec. 5.1 and then we began our discussion of Sec. 5.2 - the Unit Circle. No HW for Monday.

Accl. Geometry - We discussed Sec. 5.1 and 5.2 - sums of interior and exterior angles in a convex polygon. HW for Monday - pgs. 263 - 265 #1 - 12, #16 - 17.

All Geometry students should complete the ALEKS assessment by Saturday, Jan. 10.

Thursday, January 8

College Algebra - We continued our discussion of Sec. 5.1. HW for Friday - No new assignment; recheck your answers for the HW that was assigned for today.

Accl. Geometry - We completed the ALEKS algebra assessment and began our investigations in Sec. 5.1. HW for Friday - Complete the polygon/angle worksheet distributed in class. Read Sec. 5.1 in the text and complete pgs. 259 - 261 #1 - 14, #17, and #20.

Wednesday, January 7

College Algebra - Read Sec. 5.1 and complete pgs 281 - 282 #20 - 22, #24 - 26, #33- 40, #43, #46 - 49, an #53 - 58.

Accl. Geometry - We began taking the ALEKS online algebra assessment. The results of this assessment will help guide the placement of our geometry students in their math classes for 09-10. No HW for Thursday.
