Geometry - We completed our initial discussion of right triangle trig, discussion application problems involving angles of elevation and depression (Sec. 8.4).
HW for Friday - Complete the Sec. 8.4 - Reteach worksheet that was distributed in class today.
Notes: We will complete a quiz covering Sec. 5.8, 8.2, and 8.3 in class TOMORROW.
Also, please note the change to the material we will be covering next week. Instead of discussion Ch. 12, we will instead cover select topics from the end of Ch. 5 that more closely relate to the material that we have covered this semester. HW for Thursday - Review and rework the Sec. 8.3 - Reteaching Worksheet that was distributed in class on Tuesday. In addition, complete the Sec. 8.4 - Reading / Sec. 8.4 - Practice A worksheets that were distributed in class today.

Geometry - We continued our discussion of right triangle trigonometry, focusing in the 3 basic trig ratios - sine, cosine, and tangent (Sec. 8.2). We used the Sec. 8.2 - Intro to Right Triangle Trig to guide our review/discussion.
HW for Tuesday - Complete the two worksheets distributed in class today ... Sec. 8.2 - Intro to Right Triangle Trig (Pt 2) and Sec. 8.2 - Trig Ratios (Pt 2).
