Geometry - We completed our review of Ch. 4 in preparation for tomorrow's summative assessment of congruent triangles (Sec. 4.3 - 4.8).

Notes:  WE will complete the Ch. 4 summative assessment in class tomorrow.  The assessment will focus on congruent triangles and cover Sec. 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, and 4.8.

Friday, January 30

Geometry - We began our review of Ch. 4 in preparation for next Tuesday's summative assessment.

Thursday, January 29

Geometry - We completed a quick quiz covering Sec. 4.8 in class today.  We then completed our discussion of "new" material in Ch. 4, discussing ways to apply CPCTC and use congruent triangles to prove other statements to be true (Sec. 4.6).

Wednesday, January 28

Geometry - We spent the period discussing and proving basic side-angle relationships in equilateral and isosceles triangles (Sec. 4.8).

HW for Thursday:

- 7:00 / 8:00 - Mr. Vrana - complete the assignment provided to you by Mr. Vrana during class today

- 12:00 / 1:00 - Mr. Sondgeroth - complete pgs. 276-278  #1-10, #22-26, #28-29, #33-34

Tuesday, January 27

Geometry - We completed our quiz covering Sec. 4.3 - 4.5 and began our exploration of isosceles and equilateral triangles (Sec. 4.8).

HW for Wednesday:

- 7:00 / 8:00 - Mr. Vrana - read Sec. 4.8 in the textbook

- 12:00 / 1:00 - Mr. Sondgeroth - complete the introductory worksheet that was distributed in class today

Notes:  Reminder ... we are on Schedule E tomorrow - Wednesday, January 28.  1:00 dismissal and 7:00 classes don't start until 7:15!

Monday, January 26

Geometry - We continued our discussion of congruent triangles, completing proofs that employ various methods (Sec. 4.4 - 4.5).

Geometry - We continued attempts at proving triangles congruent, focusing on SSS, SAS, AAS, and HL (Sec. 4.4 - 4.5).
