Geometry - We completed our discussion of Sec. 1.6, reviewing the procedures for calculating the coordinates for the midpoint of a segment and finding the distance between two points in the coordinate plane.
HW for Thursday - We don't have a specific HW assignment for Thursday. Students were encouraged to review Sec. 1.3 - 1.4 in preparation for tomorrow's discussion over those sections. We will work from this worksheet in class tomorrow.
Note: Scores from the Sec. 1.1 - 1.2 Quiz have been posted in TeacherEase. If your score does not appear, it means one of two things - a) you did not take the quiz on Friday and need to schedule a make-up by the end of the day Wednesday, Sept. 3 or b) your score on the quiz has qualified for a retake. In either case, you need to talk to me TODAY to schedule this time when you will complete either the make-up or the retake.
Students who wish to request a retake of the Sec. 1.1 - 1.2 Quiz need to e-mail Mr. Sondgeroth with answers to the following questions:
- Why do you think you need to retake this assessment?
- What you you do to improve your score on this assessment?
- When do you plan to retake this assessment?
All retakes for Sec. 1.1 - 1.2 Quiz must be completed by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 5.
