Mr. Sondgeroth will employ the following policy with regard to retaking assessments in Geometry:
1 - Mr. Sondgeroth allows unlimited retakes in Geometry.
- Students may retake multiple assessments, primarily chapter tests (summative assessment).
- Students may retake the same assessment multiple times (within reason).
2 - The better grade stands ... after the first retake.
- For subsequent retakes of the same assessment, the last grade will be entered into the gradebook.
3 - Students must complete the entire assessment.
- Students deed to weigh the need to raise their grade a couple of points against the time invested.
- In some instances, Mr. Sondgeroth will limit the number of sections that need to be retaken.
4 - Students must follow the procedures set forth for a particular assessment to qualify for the retake.
