Geometry - We continued our discussion of Sec. 1.6, focusing on the Cartesian Coordinate Plane and the midpoint / distance formulas for points with two coordinates.
HW for Friday. Complete only the odd problems on the midpoint / distance worksheet (Study Guide for Lesson 1-4 and 1-5) that was distributed in class today.
Assessment Alert - We are scheduled to take a quiz in class on Friday, Sept. 2, covering Sec. 1.1, 1.2, and 1.6. Since this is a semi-summative assessment, students will NOT be allowed to use their notes, textbook, etc. They will be allowed to use a calculator.
