Geometry - After the students had an opportunity to ask question about their HW assignment, they completed the Sec. 1.3, 14, 1.6 Quiz in class today.
HW for Wednesday. Complete the Ch. 1 Form A practice test that was distributed in class today. Approximately 10 questions on the test - those that have been X-ed out - can be omitted.
Note: We will complete the Ch. 1 Test in class this Friday, September 12. Mr. Sondgeroth will hold a review session in Rm 208, from 3:00 - 4:00 on Thursday, September 11.

Geometry - We continued our review of angles (Sec. 1.3, 1.4) in preparation for tomorrow's quiz covering Sec. 1.3, 1.4, and 1.6.
HW for Tuesday - Complete the Sec. 1.4 Reteach worksheet distributed in class today. Additionally, complete the Sec. 1.6 Reteach worksheet.
Note: I informed the students today during class that I would be available from 3:00 - 4:00 after school to offer assistance and answer question in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. However, only FOUR students took advantage of this opportunity.

Geometry - We completed our discussion of Sec. 1.6, reviewing the procedures for calculating the coordinates for the midpoint of a segment and finding the distance between two points in the coordinate plane.
HW for Thursday - We don't have a specific HW assignment for Thursday. Students were encouraged to review Sec. 1.3 - 1.4 in preparation for tomorrow's discussion over those sections. We will work from this worksheet in class tomorrow.
Note: Scores from the Sec. 1.1 - 1.2 Quiz have been posted in TeacherEase. If your score does not appear, it means one of two things - a) you did not take the quiz on Friday and need to schedule a make-up by the end of the day Wednesday, Sept. 3 or b) your score on the quiz has qualified for a retake. In either case, you need to talk to me TODAY to schedule this time when you will complete either the make-up or the retake.
Students who wish to request a retake of the Sec. 1.1 - 1.2 Quiz need to e-mail Mr. Sondgeroth with answers to the following questions:
- Why do you think you need to retake this assessment?
- What you you do to improve your score on this assessment?
- When do you plan to retake this assessment?
