Alg 2 / Trig - We completed review problems in class today in preparation for tomorrow's quiz covering Sec. 3.4-3.6. HW for Tuesday - Prepare for quiz.

College Algebra - We completed our discussion of Sec. 3.7, reviewing methods for finding the equations of asymptotes in rational (polynomial) functions. HW for Tuesday - Complete pgs 198-200 #29, #32034, #36-40, #42-43, #44-46, #49-53, #55. Please note that this HW assignment is optional. However, if you do complete the assignment, then I will allow you to use your notes on your quiz tomorrow.

Topics that may be covered on tomorrow's College Algebra quiz:
Sec. 3.4 - graph a function and its inverse; find the inverse of a relation/function using any method
Sec. 3.5 - determine continuity of a function; determine if a function has gap, jump, point, or infinite discontinuity; describe the end behavior of a function; determine intervals over which a function is increasing or decreasing
Sec. 3.6 - locate critical points (abs max, rel max, abs min, rel min, inflection pt) in a graph
Sec. 3.7 - identify transformations in rational functions; determine the equations of vertical, horizontal, and/or slant asymptotes in rational (polynomial) functions

Frosh Geometry - Ms. Dundek lead our discussion of Sec. 3.4 today. HW for Tuesday - fill in the packet with the definitions, theorems, postulates or properties from section 3.4 and complete #s 8-13, 24 and 27.
