Geometry - We reviewed many of the basic algebra principles needed to justify the solution to a simple linear equation (Sec. 2.5). Additionally, we began our study of the use of deductive reasoning to solve matrix logic problems (Sec. 2.3-2.4).
HW for Friday - Complete the two worksheets that were distributed in class today.
Notes: Mr. Sondgeroth was NOT present for the 12:00 or 1:00 sections. These students may need to use the online GEOMETRY and/or ALGEBRA text books to complete the algebraic properties worksheet. For the Matrix Logic worksheet, students should rely on the background they received in regard to these types of problems in junior high or refer to the Geometry Lab 2-3 located in our textbook between Sec. 2.3 and 2.4. In either case, students should not spend more than 30-45 minutes on this HW assignment!!!!! They will be offered time in class tomorrow (Friday) to ask questions on the material they do not understand.
