Geometry - We continued our discussion of inequalities in triangles, focusing on the Hinge Thm (Sec. 5.5 - 5.6). We used this sketch - Sec. 5.5 - Side - Angle Relationship in Mr. Sondgeroth's classes to help us identify relationships pertinent to today's lesson.

Geometry - We continued our discussions in Ch. 5, focusing on the the inequalities that exist in a single triangle (Sec. 5.5).

Assessment Alert (Pt. 1): Students were allotted an additional 15 minutes in class today to complete their Congruence Test which they started in class on Friday. To my knowledge, everyone was able to complete the assessment during this time.
Assessment Alert (Pt. 2): As HW for today, students were to complete the take home portion of the Congruence Test. Those assessments were completed at the end of the hour today. AS stated on the back of the assessment, a student's grade will be lowered 5% for each day that elapsed between the day it was due (TODAY) and the day it is submitted.
Assessment Alert (Pt. 3): Our next assessment will be a quiz covering Sec. 5.5 - 5.7, to be completed in class on Friday, Feb. 12.

Geometry - We began our Congruence Test in class today. Because of the shortened class periods, many students were unable to complete their assessment in the allotted time. These students will be afforded additional time to finish their test during class on Monday.
HW for Monday: Complete the Ch. 4 / 5/ 12 Take Home Test that was distributed in class today. As noted on the back of the test: On this take home assessment, you may use your notes, textbooks, old worksheets, and /or internet research to answer each question. You may NOT get help or assistance from any human being other than Mr. Sondgeroth. This portion of the test will be collected at the start of class on Monday, Feb. 8.
